Steve LeRoy, an inventor, has created a device that can harness the power of lightning and turn it into usable energy.

The device is a small scale proof-of-concept and can utilize 3-foot bolts to power a 60-watt light bulb for 20 minutes.

LeRoy believes, however, that a full-scale version of the device would be capable of powering 30,000 homes for an entire day from 1 bolt of lightning.

Thats fantastic. I mean, energy being a problem nowadays, any little bit helps.

All we need to do to do is the figure out a way to use reanimated corpses to deliver this energy.

Is that a BioShock reference? (I haven't played it, just seen a lot of cool video)

Dude, but BioShock has the word Bio and Shock in it, clearly it's about Shocking Biological life forms!

This new technology sounds great. Coupled with wind power and solar, it could ease a huge burden on fossil fuel dependency for power. It's just a matter of easing all this stuff into mainstream use.
