With recent events sidelining my efforts of opening a store, opening beofre the christmas season is possible but won't be nearly as profitable without out people knowing we are there, I have decided to undertake creating a TV show on the local CAT (community access television) 2 station we have here. It sounds pretty sweet, $35 a year and we can create our show. Nick Arcade has lightened my heart over the past several months and I think the show needs a revival, except with a Douche McCallister Twist. Maybe i'll even ask EB or GameStop to sponsor the show til I finally get my store off the ground.

Obviously you guys from outside of Erie, PA will be unable to see the show, so when its made I'll ask for a copy and post it on youtube. This should be a fun little experiment, might even blow up like Wayne's World.

Thanks for encouragement guys, I'm sitting down with my co-conspirator, to write down a brief synopsis of the show what we want to do and such, plus I'm required to go to an orientation on the 1st Thursday of the month before they give me 30-120 minutes to do with what I want. I sounds pretty damn awesome, I'm just waiting for the "catch" but from what I heard there is no "catch". It's obviously going to be very low budget, but still this Douche is excited! Now to find contestants...

sure...well to start like I said it's very low budget so we won't be having like a interactive board like nick arcade, so far our synopsis consists of 4 contestants to start, all four play a game and the two contestants farthest along or with the highest score (depending on the challenge) will go on to play heads up. The heads up battle will consist of Trivia, video game based. With special questions, those special questions give the correctly answering contestant the opportunity to choose a game to play heads up against another player to earn more points, kinda like a heads up video challenge. The winner gets points the loser gets nothing. At the end of the round the person with the most points goes on (this is where we are undecided as of yet) to play a "Game Wizard" heads up in a game of the contestants choosing. There will be four games to choose from. ORRRRRR They will have 1 minute (maybe more) to get through 3 video game challenges, once the score or level has been beaten they will move on to the next challenge/game.

Like I said we have yet to decide how to organize the end, we do know we want only one person to take the challenge because if we get a sponsor we only want either a $50 game as the grand prize or a $25 gift certificate. Any suggestions?

LOL thanks, the game wizard would be shrouded in mystery perhaps in a wizards cloak, while he plays the game. But the time limit doesn't neccessarily have to be 1 min. We have a whole 30 minutes if not more, with no commercials so the skys the limit.

Update: Contacted the Production Manager of the Station and said I was interested in starting a show on his channel. He asked "just curious" what the show would be. I told him the idea and he literally sounded excited. "Finally something people might actually watch *Laughter*. "Hope to see you at this months orientation!" I was caught of guard a little, but it seems like I finally might be able to "do" something with myself. Wish me luck. I may be taking a prolonged absence again.

Well I mean planning the show casting people getting a sponsor for prizes, planning the challenges the questions and what not, its gonna be a time raping process.
