Anybody watching this show? I tried, but it's fucking terrible. It's really poorly acted, written, and directed...surprising since I love most HBO shows and I thought Milch's last show, Deadwood, was phenomenal.

Anyone? Anyone?

The first I heard about it was yesterday on Wikia when I saw someone wanted to start a Wiki about it.

Rebound shows are always interesting shows indeed. Sometimes they really work and sometimes they really don't.

Back from the woodwork... I is returned. My apologies to being absent for so long.

Annnnyway, does anyone watch John from Cincinnati on HBO? It's gotten really mixed reviews and it seems that people either love it or hate it. Personally, I love the show. Anything that makes you think even a little bit is better than watching America's got Crackwhores that will Blow You for $3.68 or whatever talent show is on NBC these days.

Anyway, any thoughts on the show (if you've actually seen it... which it sounds like not many have.)

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us.

Ahhhh, my mistake Spanky (and other mods)... didn't mean to bump a previously discussed topic in a new thread.

In any case, got my answer about attitudes of the show Smile

I'd like to see it, but sadly I can't afford HBO as I spend all of my disposable income Boglins & Food Fighters from eBay.
