Anybody check out this Wii / PSP game yet? Is it anything like the original? I loved this game on the genesis, not so much on NES.

eh. it's a PSP game styled up for the wii. it's mediocre fun for the whole family. would be better as a 20 dolalr title than something tehy are charging fifty for.

I read up on it a bit and I heard it's basically nothing like the original in terms of pace or style, but there are a few nostalgia tidbits thrown in throughout. I usually like games where you kill masses of enemies, such as Crimsonland and Alien Shooter Vengeance. I'm easily entertained, what can I say.

I think there was a random destroy everything with a top down view game released recently called "Monster Madness".

I'm not sure if it was any good.

Don't mean to revive a dead topic, but I have been playing this for the past week, and I'm having a lot of fun with it, it's nothing spectacular graphically and it seems pretty simplistic compared to games like Baldur's Gate and the like, but I'll be damned if it isn't a fun time, plus up to four players at a time...only played with two so far, but I can't stop playing it.
