Opposed by Bush. I'm so surprised. Confused

I think this would be a great step in mobilizing people to look toward renewable resources, but the president and the Oil Clique are going to do what they can to stop it... even if they have to kidnap Dr. Albert S. Meinheimer.

Well, if they can keep the wheels turning on this until 2008, and then the bill can wait out the Bush admin, until they leave the White House. And, then we have to hope that the Oil Companies haven't paid to put anyone else in Bush's place.

Good point. Maybe I'll start praying... or just stick to hoping.
Please, God, kill him now. ^_^

Not sure if I should set up new topic or not... But since these two links are in the same vein of Bush, the BBC, and stuff that matters to us, I said 'what the hey.'

Isn't it sad that americans can only get non-biased news about the US from foriegn news such as the BBC? Since Fox News, CNN, and C-Span all lean one way or the other.

I dunno if I like energy efficiency. They talk briefly about new standards for lighting efficiency. If it involves replacing the brighter, more vibrant light we get from incandescent light bulbs with the sickeningly dull glow of fluorescent light, then fuck em.

You know what I definitely don't like? Water conversation. We recently had the bathroom redone here and they took out the old toilet and replaced it with a new one. Apparently there are standards in place now where the best flush you can get is 10 gallons instead of 20, or maybe it's 5 instead of 10. Whatever it is, it's half what it used to be. And it sucks. You can't get a good flush out of these toilets. When I get my own house someday, I'm gonna find some old school toilets that fucking flush properly and pay a plumber cash (so there's no paper trail) to install them for me.

My house has 2 toilets. The downstairs one is regular, the upstairs one is low-flow. Guess which one we can't shit in anymore?

What if we have to use nothing but black lights, and Infrared?

That would make to stoners happy. Wink

I do enjoy black lights. They make me feel like I'm at the aquarium, they let me know who has dandruff, and they let me know whether or not I should I call the front desk and demand new bed sheets.
