So yeah, when I saw the trailer for this my first thought when I saw the phone booth was there'd be another Bill & Ted movie. Frankly, I'd prefer it to this movie.

I always liked the show, although I'm not sure why, so I'm hoping the movie isn't too bad. Perhaps they can pull off a relatively decent adaptation.

It's got Anne Hathaway in it, so I have no choice but to see it. I want to have her babies, even if it's not scientifically possible.

Supposedly there *is* going to be a Bill & Ted remake. Rolling Eyes

I have high hopes for Get Smart though.

The trailer didn't seem that good, all the jokes fell flat and felt awkward.

Without Don Adams, what's the point? They already tried beating this dead horse in 95 when they made that god-awful new version starring Andy Dick, of all the horrible choices in the world.

I have read the following, which dashes wany hopes I might have had:

(From WouldYouBelieve.Com)
What's this I hear about Mel Brooks and Buck Henry being ignored by the movie's producers? As regular readers of this website know, I have been lambasting the creative team of this movie for completely ignoring Mel Brooks, Buck Henry, and Leonard Stern in their work on this movie. This fact generated enormous outrage from the readers of this website and the initial press release on the movie was met with near-universal scorn both by fans and industry commentators because of their ridiculous take on the show and their ignoring of Brooks, Henry and Stern. Then, Jeffrey Wells of Hollywood Elsewhere released a bombshell - the reason why the original creative team was being ignored was because the studio was taking legal action to have Brooks and Henry's names removed as the creators of Get Smart. In addition, there has also been some very positive contact made with Leonard Stern (see below), who has shepherded Get Smart through all of its incantations. It is fantastic to finally see the right thing being done and respect being paid to the original version and the tremendously talented people responsible for it. Unfortunately, their involvement is not major, but you wouldn't really expect that with a sequel. It's a shame that a ridiculous legal fight (not endorsed by the movie's creative team) to increase the studio's profits stood in the way of allowing Stern, Brooks, and Henry the chance to consult before shooting started and the major characterizations and plot points were established. All 10,000+ of you who signed my petition that you were unhappy with the movie's treatment of the original creative team should be proud because you helped create this consultancy.

Good, that's one less person I have to compete with to win her heart. Wink

Now, you must convince the rest of the world of her "fugliness", so I can have her all to myself. MUHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
