Those Chips Ahoy commercials where the claymation cookies are driving around having a good time or waking up all optimistic-like, only to get mercilessly grabbed by a giant hand and eaten make me feel guilty about eating Chips Ahoy.
I mean, those cookies just want to have a good time and sing along with Human League, who are we to decide their lives aren't worth living?
I propose a massive Chips Ahoys theft campaign. We must steal boxes of Chips Ahoy from the supermarket and release them into the wild.

I kind of feel for them, halfly because I don't like the taste of chocolate chip cookies, and halfly because in my first show with a band I was in back in the day, we did a cover of "Don't You Want Me" by Human League.
I feel rather neutral, though.

Also, I fucking hate those cookies and their commercials. I didn't go out of my way to specifically eat one brand of cookie over another before but let me tell you, Chips Ahoy will not be getting my money, no sir.

Bah. A REAL punk would have grabbed the cookie by its leg, bit its head off (do they have heads?), shat in the wound, then would have presented it to Johnny Rotten. Johnny Rotten would eat the whole cookie, making his teeth even more rotten.
Or that's what I would have done, but replace Rotten with Danzig. Then Danzig would kill me and serve my soul to Satan.
But that commercial is annoying, and the cookies themselves are rather hard. I like my cookies soft and smooth.

Also, there are soft bake Chips Ahoy. They come in the red packaging and are known as Chewy Chips Ahoy.
