Two of the best games ever. If you don't agree then you shouldn't be allowed eat Chips Ahoy! Chocolate Chip Cookies. I liked the first one a lot more, however, because the gun was much more responsive and had a faster firing rate, so the gunfights were engaging and awesome. The whip, though, is a stupid re-skinned gun with a much lower firing rate, and firefights are reduced to timing your shot right and boring the hell out of you instead of melting some weird alien's flesh with a black spray painted NES Zapper. Both of them are still great, though. Some of the best puzzles ever, as well as some awesome death sequences. Really good music, too. Play these games if you haven't. If you have, then play them again.

You have to take the smallest step forward you can possibly make to charge another shield, and remember that charging it takes longer because of the visual lag caused by all the shields being charged during shootouts. Unlike charging your first shield, though, you shouldn't have to step forward to shoot through it. The Sega CD version is the best. The Hi-Res PC Edition is great and all, but it still uses the same low quality sound effects from the original, and the same music. I would've preferred that they use the Sega CD versions music and sound effects. It has the best soundtrack of all the different versions.
