Here's a weird one for you. Fifteen years ago a cargo container holding 29,000 rubber duckys was knocked off a ship and the horde of plastic waterfowl was unleashed upon the open seas. Experts have been tracking them ever since and they expect the ducks to wash up on the shores of the Cornwall beaches in England late this summer.
The sea corroded packaging, freeing the Chinese yellow ducks, plus blue turtles, red beavers and green frogs. Their color has since faded to white.
Experts have tracked them across the world, spotting them in Alaska, Siberia, Japan, Iceland and Canada.
Oceans scientist Curtis Ebbesmeyer said: “They’ll turn up on English beaches.” Collectors pay up to £500 for the toys which have The First Years stamped on them.

who gives a shit? you qouldnt pay that much for a normal rubber novelty item. what difference des it make if it happened to spill into the ocean? this is fucking stupid.
