This is a bit of a peculiar subject, because from looking at the trailers I thought it'd be another generic fantasy movie meant to appeal to kids, I didn't bother going to see it in theaters because I'm not into that kind of stuff, even making fun of it.

So when my parents rented it, I almost didn't watch it, almost.
When I did watch it, afterwards I thought it was absolutely fantastic.
The movie is about this kid who reads stories of his grandfathers exploits in Africa, more importantly about him and a tribe of small people called the Minimoys, who are about a centimeter or three tall.
Some debt collecters show up and try to take the property away, and Arthur reads that his grandfather hid a treasure from Africa somewhere in his yard, along with the Minimoys.
So arhur finds the Minimoys and discovers how to become as small and like them, It's pretty cool stuff.
I don't want to spoil too much so just see the movie. I mean, It's got David Bowie in it.

No, I wish. It's good to see for the amazing VO alone, and for Selenia being the first fictional character i've ever found hot.
