Probably for the same reason that there's an X on his arm instead of a swastika: They didn't want it to be overtly obvious that it was Hitler.

It was already kinda obvious he was Hitler the moment he used German dialect.

I like how the A-bomb technology was left behind by accident, thus leading to the creation of the american A-bomb. Nothing like an infinite time loop where the technology is never actually discovered, and the book never gets written, but still exists. Rolling Eyes

Stable time loops have been used and abused to the point of being cliche.

Course, captian planet made a point of hitting every bad writing cliche while still being heavy-handed environmentalism.

That whole thing just hurts my head.

Why would someone go back in time to auction off a nuclear weapon? Oooh, she got offered $100 million. That's but a fraction of what she could get if she just auctioned it off in present day.

You do not go back in time to get money. That doesn't make sense. People's hourly wages were in cents, not dollars, in the 1940s. If you are going to go back in time to get rich, then all you need to do is go back to an non-winning lottery drawing, and buy a ticket with the winning numbers.

Or, my plan, which would be to travel back to 1983, buy up all the stock I can in a little fledgeling company called Microsoft.

First, do the lotto winner thing. Then invest in Microsoft.

You do the thing people did in Timecop, you go to the 1929 stock market crash, buy up major corporations' stocks on the cheap, go back to the future and sell it at an astronomically larger price.

Anyone else notice that all of Kath Soucie's voices sound exactly the same? She was the little flying thingamajobber.

That being said, the clip was hilarious. Very Happy
