James Westbrook was paralyzed in a car accident in July of 2006 and his father, SFC Gene Westbrook, was also paralyzed in Iraq two years prior. Enter Extreme Home Makover and Insomniac.

The TV show made an awesomely wheelchair accessible house for the father and son, and Insomniac spent a week feverishly designing and coding a new playable character into upcoming PS3 title Ratchet and Clank Future. James will be starring in the game, complete with a flying saucer.

That is, in a word, awesome.
