i agree. country music is awful. except for johnny cash. his stuff is good. then theres a couple tolerable country artists. willy nelson and waylon jennings. oh, and that joke song "Honeybun" by Juggernaut. has anyone heard that song about NASCAR? its horrible.

I like a few country artists, namely Johnny Cash (who was my favorite performer period at one point), Hank Williams Sr., and Willie Nelson. The rest of it is pretty much terrible in my eyes (or ears, whatever). A bunch of "recommended" country songs began playing on my Yahoo! Music channel some time ago and I was amazed at how many of them really were about pickup trucks and other things I assumed were merely stereotypes regarding the genre .
