So I was just watching the Red Sox/Diamondbacks game and the announcer said that Tony Pena was pitching for the Diamondbacks. Three things immediately flashed into my mind:

1. Didn't he used to play for the Sox?
2. Wasn't he a catcher?
3. Shouldn't he be like a million years old by now?

The answer to these questions in order is yes, yes, and yes.

But apparently the Diamondbacks guy isn't the same guy. He's some bullshit fake Tony Pena.

Tony Pena's (the catcher for the Sox in the 80's) kid plays for the Roayls now too, and Tony Sr. is the 3rd base coach for the Yankees.
