From tgdaily:

Beijing (China) - A 26-year-old man from northeastern China died after a "marathon" online gaming session.

Chinese media did not announce the man's name, but quoted his parents as saying that he spent almost all of the seven-day Lunar New Year holiday break playing online games.

During the holiday week, virtually all places in China are shut down, including restaurants and stores.

State media did not release details of the actual cause of the man's death, though it was reported that he just suddenly passed out near the end of the week and never regained consciousness. His weight of about 330 pounds is being blamed for the death.

China has seen a lot of trouble with citizens becoming addicted to the Internet and gaming. Around 2.6 million of the country's 20 million Internet users are reported to be addicts. This has led to documented cases of death, violence, and health problems.

I'm just addicted to games, this site, and possibly a third one involving girls, doing stuff to eachother...like their hair or nails or something...that and im only about 180lbs. So I MIGHT be safe, they should look into a possible dot.hack scenario. Chinese people are crazy smart like that.

I'm around 180 lbs and almost 6 feet. Also, I might be addicted to games, but I rarely play more than 5 hours in a row, so I shouldn't be at risk, because I suspect he played like 15 hours everyday, and I could develop epilepsy if I did that. And I don't want to pay 1000$ for glasses because I played too much. Mine costed 300$.

I've been heavy my whole life, but for the most part, I was relatively healthy as I was active. I used to stay up late playing games until 1-2 AM and then get up at 5 AM so I could play more before school. That was my routine for 7-8 years. I still play a lot of games and whatnot and I don't have any problems related to it.
It's not like games tore my meniscus or fired me from my job.

Or did they?

No... no.... NO.... games would never never never ever ever ever do that!

Ever.

RIP Hacker.
