I was shocked to see this when I logged onto the internet.
RIP Mr. Iwata, you were a true giant and visionary in the gaming world, you were always such a gracious person whenever you greeted fans. You will be missed.

I was truly saddened by the news of his death. A man of his talent, and he leaves us all too soon.
And what also concerns me is wondering who will take the reins at Nintendo.

Way to young to die, he was only 55. Stomach cancer is really painful and shitty as well.
He was only the 4th president of Nintendo since the company was founded in 1889. This will have a huge impact on the future of Nintendo.
RIP Satoru Iwata, I will play Baloon Fight and Earthbound in memory of your contributions to the gaming world.

Not only is Mr. Iwata the only Nintendo employee that I can name that has died while still in employment, he is the third Nintendo employee I know of to have died in the company's modern era.
Gunpei Yokoi: 1941-1997
Hiroshi Yamauchi: 1927-2013
Satoru Iwata: 1959-2015
