I don't know if this exists elsewhere on the forums(I did search), so I decided to make this thread where we could share things that happen in our dreams.

Last night I had a dream that I was in some canyon/mountainous area and there was a building up the on a hill under the mountain that I was trying to get to. The first time I got there, several demonic beings with multiple horns that seemed to point straight upwards fought me back from getting inside the building. I decided after a few minutes to try getting into the building again. This time the other demons were gone but there was a female demon with grey skin, very dark blue eyes (the whole of the eyes were one color) and similarly blue hair/horns that were more downwards pointing. She seemed scared of me and for some reason I reached out and grabbed her arm. After that she was not scared but instead wanted to have sex. Confused

And I totally had sex with the hot demon chick in my dream. And when we were done, she told me "I hope you come back to your dreams more often." Confused

It was a weird dream.

I used to write out all my dreams in order to remember them, but lately they've been so powerful that I don't even need to write them down to remember. I've noticed a lot of recurring motifs in my dreams involve me searching for someone, water (though I never drown), being too dizzy to help someone else when they're being attacked by someone, breaking glass, and wanderlust. Surprised

In my dream a dog plushie bit me in the balls and I didn't feel anything and only realized it when I made a bloody mess everywhere.

I guess my subconscious doesn't think I'm very manly.

Last night I had a dream where I was trying to kill a guy for about a half hour. I had him pinned down and I was pressing my thumbs underneath his chin trying to pop his head off but my fingers just kept digging in deeper and didn't even break the skin. I ended up just breaking the guys neck. When I was done I jumped off the building I was on into a canal and swam away.

I am pretty sure that dream had something to do with a real life experience I had.

heh, the canal part was not the real life experience bit. It was the choking and neck breaking that was.

I've noticed recently that, in my dreams, the closer I am to waking up the more bizarre and mixed-up parts of the environment become; rooms and building layouts that make no sense, roads that lead to places that don't exist in otherwise real locations, etc.

Another observation I've made is that my brain is stuck in the 80's/90's because I still dream about finding VHS tapes to things that never existed, but totally should have, or magazines that don't exist that cater to a specific desire. And the video games I find are all 8 and 16-bit. Laughing

And, a few days ago I had my first (remembered) dream-within-a-dream. I awoke from the dream, propped myself up, looked around and went back to sleep only to wake up (for real this time) and realize my bed had been in the wrong part of the room in the dream-wakeup.

I had a dream my life would be so different from this hell I'm living. So different now, from what it seemed. Now life has killed the dream I dreamed.

Last night I dreamed that William Shatner died. When I woke up today I had to check news outlets online to make sure he did not.

Nothing is more boring than listening to someone try and explain a dream, especially if it's been a while since they had it and the details are murky.

I had one of these once that was straight out of a 90s sitcom. I was being attacked in a factory by my dad and Michael Meyers, and then I made myself wake up. 5 seconds later when I thought I was safe they burst through the door and then I really woke up.

Last night I dreamed I was a cameraman working with Christopher Lee in the 1970's and he was interviewing random women on the street and asking them if they wore panties or not. Confused

I had one of my most fucked up dreams ever last night. I traveled back in time to Nazi Germany and met Hitler. Hitler then picked up a history textbook and started asking me questions and marking off things on a sheet of paper. My final test was to show him I knew how to goose-step. He told me I passed the test and that he had arranged a house for me to stay at and that someone would me me later on in the night. I went to the house and got into the shower, but then the shower door locked and gas started coming out of the shower head.

Pretty fucked up dream overall.

I have many strange dreams. The one I remember most vividly (and is most important to me) is about this place I call the Green Room, which I guess is my happy place or something.

But I've dreamt about it twice, once when I was extremely young (4 or 5) and again recently (last year or the year before), and each time it begins with me walking down a hallway into this pulsating green glow. At the end of the hallway is a room that opens into a hexagon shape, with a fluctuating floor (as I walk over the floor, it turns into stairs, but starts to sort of wave once I pass). I don't remember the details of the first time, but the second, I reach the bottom of the floor and it goes up again towards this dais. Of course, I climb up and then see this man standing on the dais. I can remember his voice but can't place it, but his face is blank. He says, very distinctly "This place is for you. It is a home for you, your friends, and for those who find themselves without one. You have been here before, and will find yourself here again." For some reason, I notice a kid in a wheelchair at the bottom of the slope from before. I notice that the floor turns into a ramp for him, instead of stairs.

There's more, but I'll stop before I explain the entire damn thing.
