I've pretty much disappeared from the internet lately.
I got a job I was amazingly passionate about (locksmithing) and I guess the owner felt that the work load wasn't enough to support me and being a recent higher I had less job security than the rest.
So I've got my rent due on the first, I have $100 to my name, and I'm trying damn hard to find a new job.
Wish me luck guys?

wow thats rough man. you'll make it though. just stock up on ramen. maybe donate some plasma. pawn/sell some things. you might have to borrow some cash from people but you dont really have much of a choice.

I've got ramen (and booze.... Ssshhhhhh I drank a coffee cup of bacardi tonight) and I can't donate plasma anymore. I have 3 guns, two of which I guess I could part with (pawning or selling)

You have guns? Well shit, man, watch Natural Born Killers and then take it from there.

My serious response is good luck, good sir. You are a great person and you deserve good things. I hope you find a new job with much expediency.

You can try going to a employment agency to get a temporary job, most likely in a warehouse. I'm sure there are many places that want a bunch of people to handle the large orders because people shop more during the holiday season.

I got a job working on a house. The pay is shit, the hours are hell, and the work is out in the cold all day.
But hell, if it means having a warm bed at night.

Worst case scenario, you can sneak enough components to make yourself a shed.

I think one of the folks here should set up an Indiegogo or GoFundMe for Hacker. Yeah, it's Christmastime and money is tight, but every little bit helps.

I was wondering if this was going to turn into Hacker being a hobo with a gun. It's good you found work man. I have done contracting and it can suck but you can also make really good money, as long as you get with the right people. Lots of shady people in the contracting business where I live.
