Today I started and finished Ninja Spirit for the Turbografx 16.
The game was really fucking hard, but really short.

I just finished Resident Evil: Dead Aim for the PS2. The game was pretty easy (up until the very last boss, which was freaking ridiculous), but it was an absolute blast with my GunCon2. However, I was surprised at how short it was; on my first playthrough, I beat it in an hour and fifty-four minutes. And to think people paid fifty bucks for this back in the day.

Thomas Was Alone. Fun indie platformer with some great humor and story. Not much on gameplay substance, but the puzzles and jumping were challenging in parts.

I completed the DLC for Skyrim. Really didn't seem as much fun as the main game was, but the vampire transformation thing was kind of neat.
Really haven't been playing much that I can "complete" though. Mostly playing stuff like Payday: The Heist, TF2's MvM, and Chivalry: Medieval Warfare right now. Did pick up Binding of Issac when it was only like 1.50 on Steam but I haven't gotten close to beating it yet.

I just beat Puzzle Kingdoms on Wii. If you can't look several moves ahead, this game could be very difficult.

Chalk up another Ninja Spirit, for the same reason as Deku, it was the most recently released Game Center CX episode. Arino's gotten me to play and beat a lot of games I otherwise wouldn't have, and that show's been the only walkthrough to follow for a lot of games.

Alright, I just beat Super Mario RPG. It was actually the very first time I had ever played it. All I can say is really? Number 5 on the best SNES games list for real? I don't think I've ever been so mad at myself for wasting 8 dollars in my life. Complete rubish. Though I can't knock the list too much because I've heard undeserving praise heaped on this game from all over for so many years. Clearly nostalgia has blinded a lot of people because the game has nothing worthwhile to offer.

Dawn of War 2. Good, challenging strategy game with great action. Its boss battles are kind of a chore, but you still feel accomplished when you kill one, and the whole RPG aspect of it with stats, perks, and loot tickle that "YAY DING" part of my brain.

Haven't completed any games this year yet but I can tell you what I plan to beat this year. I'll probably go through Breath of Fire 2 again also Final Fantasy Tactics and possibly Chrono Cross. I don't know about any others though. 3 games a year is quite a lot for me as busy as I am.

Just beat Bioshock.
Pretty good game. Though there was a bit in the middle where I felt like it got a bit monotonous, but other than that damn fine game.

I didn't know it was actually possible to arrange these words in that order.

I don't think the game is rubbish, but it's really not that great of a game, and certainly not one I'd ever wanna play through again.

It's a solid, charming game with some cool quirks. Fun on its own merits, but can't really stand up to the SNES' solid list of outstanding RPGs.
Beat Skies of Arcadia again after reading an LP that pointed out all of the crap I missed the first time around, and managed to 100% the discoveries for the first time. It kind of gives a sense of closure to do it, as it kind of bothers me when I don't 100% my favorite games. Skies is probably my favorite JRPG, and it may be the closest to flawless that any of my favorites is, as far as my tastes go.

Mario RPG isn't really that great. I never bother even finishing it. It's overall a really basic RPG with not much to it, except that it plays in the Mario universe. At least that is what my impression was. I enjoyed Terranigma or Lufia 2 much much more.

I have the same habit if completing games a 100% if i really like them. Wich is pretty hard and time consuming. I play Persona 4 at the moment and try to finish it a 100%, using gamefaqs for assistance of course. It's also a shame that i never managed to complete SoTC. I actually completed it to 99%. I could only not defeat my archnemesis, the 5th Colossus on Hard Time Attack. Well, one day maybe...

Thanks to the 3DS eShop, I've been on a big retro kick. In the last week I've beaten Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, Ninja Gaiden, and Kid Icarus (in 3D!!!). The only one of those that I had ever played before was Kid Icarus. I also beat Mega Man for the first time. I had only played any Mega Man game once before. I beat all of these games legit...no save states. That sucked for Lost Levels, in particular, because I fell for the backwards warp two fucking times.
I enjoyed them all, and now am playing Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 for the first time.
I also recently beat Gunman Clive, a $2 3DS eShop game that is really fun. It pays homage to a lot of NES titles, particularly Mega Man. It's short but has a ton of replay value. Everyone should check that out.
Oh, they also have some Game Gear games on the 3DS VC, so I played Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble. What a short, piece of shit game. One of the few retro titles I regret downloading.

Completed DKC today. Yeah, that happens from time to time. I finished every stage with Diddy, so that on the map screen are only Diddy icons. Made the game a little bit more challenging.

I watched my girlfriend play through and beat Tales of Symphonia on the GameCube, and then beat Tales of Symphonia 2 on the Wii.
While she played those games I used my emulator and beat Super Return of The Jedi on the SNES.

Just beat Spec Ops: The Line. That game was an experience that I won't soon forget. Probably the best story I've seen in a video game in a very long time even though I kind of guessed what was coming as it got nearer to the end. Sure the game was kind of short and the mechanics weren't as polished as Gears of War or Call of Duty but I still greatly enjoyed it especially since I only paid like 6 bucks and some change for it or something.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Need For Speed: Most Wanted (mobile version on Android).
Currently working my way through my Steam library alphabetically beating every game with a single player campaign, and refusing to buy any new games until I'm done.

Castle Of Shikigami 2. Also one of those games i just play through now and then. Actually, most games i play are games that i have been playing again and again over many years. Castle of Shikigami 2 is one of them.

Assassin's Creed 2. I've beaten it before, but I really just wanted to start fresh on the series so I can work my way up to AC3. Lovely game, of course, and I started Brotherhood. I also just dick around in Civilization 5, because I can't handle straight playing through games. I'm doing what herpes is doing and going through my Steam library randomly until it's all done before I buy any other games.
