Since no one else could be bothered to make a new thread for this year, I did.
So far this year I have completed Castlevania: SOTN twice, Super Metroid, Super Mario Bros. (1, 2, 3), Super Mario World, Tekken 2, UN Squadron, Sonic the Hedgehog (1, 2, 3), Solstice, Megaman (1, 2, 9) and Castlevania (NES).

So far in 2014 I've completed...... nothing. I'm just really busy running a business so I may not complete a single game all year. Although I'm going to try for Super Metroid Redesign and Secret of Mana 2.

I beat the original Mass Effect for the first time last night, lol. I doubt I'll find time to finish the two sequels anytime soon...so behind the curve...

Finally unlocked everything in Mario Kart Double Dash. Going back to it after not having played in eight or nine years, I'm realizing it's a very underrated addition to the Mario Kart franchise.

A lot of people lately have been ranking DD as one of the best MK games. I never really cared for the "double" aspect of the game, but maybe it's time I gave it a second chance.

The "double" aspect of it was neat for single player grand prix purposes. Yet whenever it came to multiplayer, my friends and I never seemed to use it. It was basically down to:
Two of played these games regularly and knew how to drive pretty well. We were always the drivers and were not allowed to be on the same team.
Two of us didn't play these games regularly but understood the items. They were always in the backseat and used items.

We shuffled roles every now and then, but typically defaulted to the above. I would like to have played Double Dash where all four people were very familiar with the game.

I finally beat a Zelda game. I completed Ocarina Of Time, and it was awesome (both the game and completing it)!
Personally, Double Dash is my favorite racing game of all time, so it's definitely my favorite Mario Kart.

Metroid Prime is one of those games that I've started at least five times, but then life gets in the way not long after and I stop. Then two years later I start over, and the same thing happens. I need to get around to playing through for real one of these days.

Finally finished La-Mulana, two years after reaching the final boss, just in time for the Kickstarter for its sequel to come to a close.

Just finished the main story in The Lego Movie Video Game. Kinda disappointed. This game is nowhere near as giant or fun as Lego City Undercover. It's still okay though. But it's like 15-20 hours of gameplay versus the 100+ I got out of LCU.

I finished La-Mulana in 19:35, a year and a half after I first got to the final boss, just in time for the Kickstarter for the sequel to end.

I decided to play Super Metroid for some reason. 5:30 with 68% items because I am impossibly lame.
[Edit]Ground Zeroes finished. I don't care what anyone says, Keifer Sutherland is an awesome Snake.
