Maybe not. Sucks if you work for the government or run a business on government territory.

It really depends. The longer it goes on the more it will be felt by everyone. I have a friend who can't get his promotion at work because they can't hire a replacement due to not being able to do a federal background check. Also, if you have a small business and you are trying to get federal money or whatever to stay afloat or start something new, apparently you are SOL.

The only thing I get from the government are harassing calls about my student loans. The shutdown had stopped those. Long live the shutdown!
