So it looks like this game really wants to establish some sort of dual-tech feature (Mario and Luigi merge into a "Mario Tank" which fires green shells).

I remember playing one of the previous installments at a pizza joint in Texas various times in my life. Personally, I'm pretty excited for this new installment.

I wish they'd release these for home consoles. IIRC, the first two had Pac-Man ghosts as racers.

Not to be buzzkill, but these games aren't that good from insomnia reviews I read. Anyhow, this is an important screenshot.

Don't care if they're good. What I care is that they're Mario Kart games that I have never played and would like to play. And I seriously doubt they could ever disappoint me more than Mario Kart Wii.

Actually, I played the first Arcade GP at a local movie theater, and it's a great game. It's really fun.

Aw, man, I like Mario Kart Wii, but a lot of it just pisses me off so much that it eventually put me off of it for life. I think my biggest gripe is the dreadful, dreadful combination of rubber-band A.I. and a rank-basked unlocking system. It's a deadly combo, indeed.

As for the Mario Kart Arcade GP games, I've played at least one of them. It has a built-in camera that takes pictures of your face, which is a little silly, but cool nonetheless. The tracks are pretty nice and the items are quite fun. I also like how Namco put some of its characters in the mix, seeing that it made the game. Personally, I hope to see some in a place nearby where I live, as I've only seen the machine in an Incredible Pizza in Texas.

Man they don't have cocaine in Japan, that's why everything is so insane. They have to replicate the experience with merchandise.
