This weekend marked the 3rd annual trip to Dave & Busters, Previously we've just gone to the Pittsburgh area one, but this year we went to the D & B in Cleveland (WestLake Area). Seeing as how we had never driven there we decided to use a GPS system that had been collecting dust.
When we set-up the GPS it didn't recognize D & B's so we had to find a place nearby. As we started out on our journey, everything was going fine. Jumped on I-90 down to Cleveland then onto I 480. However...
A problem occured...we werent really paying attention we were just following the directions give to us by the calming womens voice of the GPS. (Which we later switched to the "Guy" voice because it sounded funny when we would deliberately go the wrong way.) We came to an off-ramp and she told us to take a right, so we did. Then it said take a left so we did, then it said take a left again, but while we were taking a left it said..."on to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd".
We freaked out this is not where 4 white boys want to be. Then she told us to take a left again, however, as we attempted to we saw there was no left it was into a house. Instead of trying to see if maybe there was a secret wall there and drive through we immeadiately hauled ass out of there as soon as possible. Apparently it was welfare check day.
After we got out of the "hood" we proceeded to follow her directions again, I dont know why. We got back on the highway and we got off on the next exit, this time we were told to take a right, after taking the right we were told to take the next legal U-Turn...now why tell us to go right and then say take next legal u-turn when you could have said left to begin with?
We finally get there, Dsylexia (the name we dubbed her) had finally got us to our destination. It was definitly worth the trip, we had a lot of fun and owned the little kids in skiball, we tried to raise the 500,000 tickets necessary for a PS3 we were gonna give away at the Super Tecmo Bowl Tourney we were going to hold.
We got close (2,490) got to drunk to beat anyone in anything competitive, so we decided to eat and shake off the alcohol. It got to be about 2 a.m. and we decided to head back home.
On our way back we stopped by to get a drink for the ride home and stopped at a BP right of the highway, when we tried to go through the front door it was locked and we had to go over to a slot by the (it looked like a bank deposit box) and asked if we could get something to drink. She said what do you want ill get it fro you. She went and got our Mountain Dews and realized she couldn't fit them through the slots. This is when 2 cadillacs pulled up all tinted windows and bass streaming from their trunks.
So after we ran jumped into the car and drove like a bat out of hell out of there, from fear of dying, we got to a Walgreens, however, as we were pulling in a women was being robbed/kidnapped the guy had her in what looked like a sleeper hold and had a knife to her neck, a rent a cop ran out of the Walgreens and the guy ran off behind a pizza hut. The women was cut on her arm, and her purse had fallen to the ground showing about what looked like an ounce or two of Weed. She was handcuffed immeadiately and put into a cop car.
That was about it for crazy stuff. How was everyone elses weekend?
