Well, lets turn this around and see what will happen.
I know that is a harder list to compile but it would be cool if some if you would take yourself time and write something down.
Just think about frustrating and disappointing battles. I think there are some.

Starting with 10, going to 1, wich is the highest position.

10. Seth from SF4.
Image
He just seems very random with his movelist wich consists nearly only of moves from other characters and his strange looks. Not a cool villian at all. I also hate to fight him online.

9. Sin from FFX
Image
All this talk about him for 30 hours or so and then yeah... it's flying whale with a city on top of his head. Stopping abusing drugs so hard, Square.

8. Mundus from DMC 1
Image
I really loved the whole game back in the days and every Boss was extremely awesome and satisfying to fight against but Mundus is just kinda weird. He is the Devil and looks like a giant Statue, plus the fights against him are not that entertaing or funny as many other fights in the game. Wich was lame for the last boss.

7. Abyssal Leviathan from Skyward Sword
Image
He has a huge build up time, while you run around on the ship and he crushes it into pieces and when i finally saw him... he looked absolute laughable. Like some Sesamestreet reject. I still can't believe how ridicolous and stupid this boss looks. And the fight overall is also pretty lame. Except for the 2nd Phase of the fight. Wich was ok. But not more than that.

6. The Hades Witch from Terranigma
Image
You know, there are some bosses that are just destined to kick your ass and to kick it very hard. The Hades Witch is one of them. She appears relatively early in the game and gets you by surpirse. She has tons of HP, mean unpredictable attacks and deals massiv damage. If you don't start to grind hard at this point, it is over. Thinking back to this fight it always got on my nerves. I mean she is waaay stronger than the last boss in the game.

5. Salabog (Swamp Snake) in Secret of Evermore
Image
Another one of those bosses that come early in the game and are worse than the final boss. I remember getting crushed by this bastard everytime i played this game. He is ridicolously hard and i don't know if he looks awesome or retarded.

4. Cort (Final Boss) from Legend of Legaia
Image
Hm. This boss is probably the weakest Endboss i have ever fought in a videogame. I was underleveled and had major problems getting through the last stage and beating the mid-bosses, so i thought the Final Boss would be impossible to beat. I didn't even try to defeat him, i was just randomly spamming combos and spells and before i knew it, i had him defeated.

3. Malus (16th Colossi) from Shadow of the Colossus
Image
I don't know. I really didn't like that fight to much. There are many funnier and more entertaining boss battles in that game. And for a game that is basically build around boss battles solely, the Final Boss is not that special. Don't get me wrong. I actually love this boss fight. There is a lot to it. It's just probably the best game ever. And this fight wasn't the climax of the game for me. But it had to be it.

2. Aumann Anubis from Zone of the Enders 2
Image
Another final boss. He looks awesome, the music is epic, the battle mechanics are great as always in ZoE games, he is your mortal enemy and rival for 2 games and you never get your hands on him. But wait. HE ANNIHILATES YOU! AGAIN! AND AGAIN ! AND AGAIN! AND AGAIN! AND AGAIN! Seriously. This is the second hardest boss i have ever encountered (the hardest is on position 1). I must have tried this fucker 20-30 in a row and couldn't beat him. He takes you out with a few hits, he can heal himself and he moves with the speed of light. It was overall depressing to fight this guy.

1. Mysterious Figure in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep
Image
This. Boss. Is. Impossible. Simple as it is. I had the best equipment, the most solid tactic there is against him (wich doesn't mean much) and Level 99. But this Boss doesn't care. He can still kill you with 1 attack. You heard me. Sometimes the fight starts, he charges at you before you can even react because he is so incredible fast and simply takes you out . With 1 fucking attack. The fight literally lasts sometimes only for a few seconds. And you spend 100+ to build your character. He even steals your attacks so that you can't even do anything but dodge till you get them back. I never been able to beat him. I probably tried him 30-40 times, before i gave up.

Magneto in X-Men: Children of the Atom. It's a fighting game, so the boss battle is timed. Not only does Magneto have devastating attacks, but one of his supermoves is a fucking INVULNERABILITY SHIELD that makes him invincible for 30 seconds. And he will continue to spam his other moves with invincible.

Isn't that the guy that casts auto-life on you? The only FFX bosses that ever really gave me problems were Yunalesca and Seymour's final form, though both of those are a total bitch.

Yeah FFX has two of my most hated boss battles. Seymour's last battle and the final boss. Both of them sucked. After making it through Seymour I had no desire to fight the last boss twenty times too and just quit.

Swamp Monster, Painkiller: This game had some weird gimmick bosses, but this one was just dumb. You were stuck on an island in the center of a swamp, while a giant boss circles around you. The only way to damage him is shoot these gas bubbles as he walks over them. The bubbles pretty much only damage him if he feels like it, and if he has the wrong pattern, he won't walk over any expanding bubbles, resulting in either an infinite loop or a half hour fight.

Fahouk, Dead to Rights: I was stuck on this asshole for a month when I was younger. Hitscan enemy with an AK that can take off huge chunks of health per shot. He also intermittently regenerates health by drinking a bottle of liquor, unless you go into first-person mode (with awful camera controls) and shoot the bottle.

That fucking giant tank in Valkyria Chronicles. It wasn't a bad idea for a boss, but in a game that allowed for different tactics, you really had to get this one pixel perfect in your movements.

I've heard of problems with Deus Ex: Human Revolution's bosses. Can anyone confirm if they ever released that fix for them?

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

Pretty much any boss in a third person shooter, first person shooter, or 3D action/adventure that is fought in a large arena and/or has any sort of speed is chronically unfun. Ganon's Ghost in the Forest Temple in Ocarina is a good example of this. The Metroid Prime series was pretty shitty in this regard too. I want to play Kill The Boss, not Find The Boss.

I picked Sin over him because Yu Yevon is not that big of a deal in the game. He never gets mentioned and you don't root to finally meet him anywhere in the game. With Sin it is the other way around.

He's a huge freaking deal in the game. He's the whole reason Sin exists. And he's a giant purple tick in a fight you can't lose. That's about the worst possible boss I can think of.

As for Sin, I don't see your reasoning. You know exactly who and what he is from the opening sequence on, and you fight against and meet him many times in the game. There's at least 3 Sin boss fights. Probably more.

Yeah alright. Been about 10 years since i played that game. Basically i find Sins design being very random and kinda silly for being one of the main Antagonist of the game. I expected far more of it. But yeah, Yu Yevon is ridiculous too. Not doubt about that. As Braskas Bestia is. And many things about FF X.

Phantom Ganon is one of my favorite bosses.

Speaking of Shadow of the Colossus bosses, they're all pretty fun and fantastic, but that one giant bird that you fight at the lake was pretty annoying. I must've fallen off at least ten times.

That's true. If you know how to do him though, he is lots of fun.
I alway thought the 13th Colossi was the most entertaining to fight against.

The Prime bosses that forced you to switch your visors were obnoxious, as well as the attrition fights in the second one. Seemed like for every decent fight like Meta Ridley, there were 3 fucking Grapple Guardians.

The final boss of FFIX. IX was a beautiful, fun game with an excellent story, and it had a great antagonist in Kuja. But you don't really fight him. Instead, at the end of the game, you fight this monster who wants to destroy the universe. You've never heard a word about him at this point, he comes right the fuck out of nowhere and spouts off some rewritten Yoda bullshit taken strait from Episode 1. He's not hard, just annoying. And on top of that, after he's destroyed, he's never spoken about again. What the was the fucking point of all that?

I don't know why, but I had a little trouble with the final boss in IX. I think he killed me 2 or 3 times before I beat him. Once I figured him out he wasn't too bad, but yeah, who the fuck was he and why the fuck wasn't he part of the story? Anyhow I did like IX, I thought it was awesome otherwise.
