I looked at the first page of Search results and found nothing related to this. Either way I'm sure someone will work the search magic and make me an asshole and point out some thread created about this.

Back on topic.

Right now my main area of gaming has gone to mobile gaming and I wanted to discuss games you just can't miss. I'm a Droid user but I figured I might as well leave this open for iOS users too.

The Kairosoft folks make some pretty fun games but I need stuff for inbetween their releases (if you haven't played any of the Kairosoft games, you seriously need to check them out. They're awesome simulation games for both Droid and iOS)

I've recently been playing a lot of Plague Inc. and the new Square Enix Chaos Rings but looking for something new or something I missed.

If you also haven't checked out OnLive it's freaking awesome. You can buy or subscribe for $10 a month for most the games they offer. It's console/computer games for your Tab or Phone. They have Fallout, Fallout 2, Tactics, Bioshock, Borderlands 1, Deus Ex and a lot of other sweet games on there. You can't play a lot of them though without some sort of USB Controller hooked up. Some are touch, but not many.

So what are your suggestions?

Alphadia is a very good, very SNES era RPG for iOS.

"The Simpsons: Tapped Out" looked kinda interesting. It has a plot written by the same guys that write the series and it's graphic is neat too. It's a simulation game, kinda like Sim City. Basically you are rebuilding Springfield. It's also for free.

I never liked Angry Birds that much, but Bad Piggies is actually a lot of fun.

Ski Safari has been a lot of fun... until my shitty phone kept dying on it.

I picked it up for $0.25 back a few weeks ago and found it to be quite enjoyable when I wanted to play a game for a few minutes here or there.

On iOS, Infinity Blade and the sequel are great. One of the best settings in a game I've seen, ever, but it's not immediately apparently what's really going on. This game's story is probably the one I'm most interested in right now, in videogames overall.

Dark Meadow is fun too. Mass Effect: Infiltrator is not bad if you like Mass Effect.

Chrono Trigger was just released today by Square Enix for $10 on Google Play. It says it includes the two extra areas from the DS version.

Read the reviews though, some people are saying it isn't scaling properly with their device and others say it's working great.

Also if you didn't know, Final Fantasy 1 and Final Fantasy 3 is available from them. 3 works flawlessly but I see a lot of complaints about 1 so I never picked it up.

I believe all three of the first three Final Fantasies are available, yes? But why pay $10 for a game you've already played and hopefully already owned, except now on an inferior platform? Seems like a poor idea.

FF2 isn't available for Droid. Might be on iOS. I'm not sure.

I didn't say I was going to buy it. I have a SNES Emulator on my Phone and Tab. And, I have it purchased on my PS Vita.

But, I suppose if you wanted to buy it again, it is re-released Razz

EDIT: I didn't see anyone else talk about them, but has anyone played the Kairosoft games? Game Dev Story is just pure gold.

Bump.

Wanted to mention if you like Angry Birds they just released Star Wars Angry Birds. It's a breath of fresh air to the series. The birds all have Star wars related powers like the force, lighting, blasters, lightsabers, etc.

Check it out. I'm liking it.

Bump.

FFII is now available on Droid. Also a whole brand new FF only on mobile platforms called FF Dimensions is available for $20. I'm pretty far into it and it's great. Job system is in place with it as well.

The only games on my phone are Flow Free, Flow Free Bridges, Solitaire Free Pack, and Burning Sand 3.

I'm not a bad enough dude, but I am an edgy little shit. I'll do what I can.

if you're looking for an excellent dungeon crawler you can pick up any time, check out Dweller. I've poured a decent amount of time into it getting my rpg fix, it doesn't get old. Plus, it's free.

Chrono Trigger Also got a remake just recently put into the app store. But yeah, same problem.

I find the Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2 and CD ports are very much awesome, and the controls are surprisingly good. I know they're available on iOS, but not sure about Android.

EDIT: Only the Sonic CD port is available on the Play Store.

Figures you said that, I also started playing Tetris Quest, another free game which is an interesting blend of dungeon crawler and Tetris, in the sense that the falling blocks function as rooms for heroes.

That sounds cool as hell. I will be downloading that for sure.
