So, I mentioned in the "This shit makes me happy" thread last week that I picked up a SNES and 17 games. Being a video game addict, I would like to get more. And as much as I'd love to own Final Fantasy II or Earthbound, I can't afford them.

I have been out of the secondary SNES market for awhile now, so I don't know what's worth what. I am looking for enjoyable games that I can get cartridge-only in the $0.01 - $10.00 range.

These are the games that were sold to me with the system:

Contra III: The Alien Wars
Disney's Aladdin
Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
Mega Man X
Mortal Kombat II
Mortal Kombat 3
NBA Jam
Primal Rage
Street Fighter II
Super Mario World
Super Punch-Out!!
Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles In Time
The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past
The Simpsons: Bart's Nightmare
X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse
WWF Super Wrestlemania

I sold off most of my collection but I have several leftover that I'd be happy to sell off to a good home for cheap.

Breath of Fire
Disney's Goof Troop
Lagoon
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Mickey Mania
Shanghai II
Tetris 2
Super Mario All Stars
Super Mario World
Wario's Woods
Zombies Ate My Neighbors

I also have Chrono Trigger. These all come with the game manuals, but no box. Let me know if you're interested. Smile

(I realize I listed a couple you already got. Just putting it out there in case someone else wants them.)

I'll keep a lookout at the local used game shop for anything cool next time I head down.

Bust a Move, Killer Instinct, Blackthorne, and Ys III should all be pretty cheap.

And yeah, I'd go hunting around thrift stores and yard sales for SNES games. Most of the more valuable SNES games I have have been obtained from yard sales where people don't actually have any idea how much they're worth and just sold their son's collection because he was "getting too old for them" or whatever.

The less than £5 list is always hilarious.

Super International Cricket
Shaq Fu
Fifa International
World Class Rugby

Basically all shitty sports games which are 20 years out of date.

Also for some reason there are like 200 Super Famicon games getting sold for like 2quid. If i owned one it would be a total steal.

Then they're yours if you want them. I also have a strategy guide for Breath of Fire but it's... nibbled... on... a bit. :\ I'll throw it in for free if you want it, but otherwise it'll probably end up in the trash.

Yeah, I noticed Super Famicom games are seriously much cheaper, for example Rockman X goes for £12-15 compared with £35-50+ for the PAL version.

Now that I think about it, I'm going to buy a random 2 quid game and see if my converter will play it.

Do I want a strategy guide that you apparently had rough sex with? Yes, yes I do. Especially if the other option is it gets thrown out.

Lol.

Several years ago we made the mistake of leaving the guide on the floor overnight. My dog (then a puppy) mistook it for a viable chewing option.

It doesn't make anything inside the guide illegible, seeing as its all mostly in that upper corner, but I figured no one is gonna pay for a guide that's been nibbled on.
