Extreme Prejudice is possibly the manliest movie of all time (It's a toss up between this, Death Wish 3, and Invasion U.S.A. [IMO]). It's got a plot that's easily digestible unlike all these fancy pants contemporary action films that have convoluted plots that take up space where there could have been gunfire and explosions. It has a protagonist that isn't morally ambiguous, he's a cut and dry, monosyllabic, play by the rules good guy who drinks too much. The cast is insane: Nick Nolte, Michael Ironside, Powers Boothe, Rip Torn, William Forsythe, Clancy Brown, etc... Finally, it has a climatic ending, Not some "No Country for Old Men" bullshit ending. It's basically the same ending as "The Wild Bunch" except better.
Action fans need to check this movie out if they haven't already seen it. It's directed by Walter Hill who's resume speaks for itself. Another Hill movie that doesn't get the recognition it deserves is "Southern Comfort".
