Hey, it's that hack I made! You're in for some real punishment this week. Yes, Super Mario Zero is a complete hack of the original game with the difficulty ramped up to 11. Your mission is simply to get as far as you can before getting a game over. This version is slightly modified from the original, taking out ways to access the warps and removing a few shortcuts and 1-ups. You also only start with 5 lives.

I'm not even in this but played to 2-3 and had to go eat, a sneaky bit killed me, gave up on four lives.

I thought this game was kinda neat when I watched NS play through it. Actually playing it though... it's just so ridiculously annoying. Sad
