Also, this website is quite pointless. Why? I can get an app on my iPhone that does the exact same thing, and it is much more convenient to put my iPhone near a speaking playing a song I want to know the name of then hum or sing it to a laptop.

I can usually remember at least some of the lyrics to the song and just put those in Google to find the song and artist. Seems like a nice idea though if you are currently listening to the song on the radio and can get it to identify it and somehow have a computer with a microphone connected to the internet with you at that exact same time.
