I don't really consider myself a big music video buff, but I'll see how many I can get. (In no particular order, of course).

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication
Green Day - Walking Contradiction
The Offspring - Why Don't You Get a Job?
The Tragically Hip - Music at Work
Treble Charger - Hundred Million
Matthew Good Band - Apparitions
Sum 41 - Hell Song
Metallica - Until it Sleeps
Hawksley Workman - Jealous of Your Cigarette

I'm sure there are others, it's just late.[/list]

Rob Zombie - Living Dead Girl

I just love that it is Rob's version of The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Although, I wouldn't say it is my favorite.

Soul Asylum - Can't Even Tell

Yeah, Kevin Smith directed it and it's considered Clerks 1.3 so yeah.

Fatboy Slim - Weapon of Choice

Chris Walken DANCES!!! Yes!!!

"If you will not tell me, I will hurt people!!!" -Nuclear Man

"Do you hear? The alpha and the omega. Death and rebirth. And as you die, so will I be reborn!" - Skeletor

Great picks, man, but I am kind of partial to Pearl Jam's Do the Evolution.

Aside from that:

Emperor - The Loss and Curse of Reverence( those sholderguards rule, and the cinematography is great)

Emperor - Empty (Trym's moonboots, need I say more?)

Behemoth - Decade ov Therion (great imagery, and one of the few Behemoth video's that isn't entirely lame)

Anthrax - Got the Time (nothing I say about this video could justify the corpus amounts of asskickery)

Danzig - It's Coming Down [Uncensored banned edition] (The most disturbing video ever)

I almost put "Do The Evolution" on there too, but I wanted to diversify a little bit. I also had meant to put Tool's "Sober" video on there. I have no idea what it's about, but it's fucking creepy as hell.

I was going to put a Tool video as well, then I realized that everyone knows they have some of the best videos anyways, so there was no point.

If you get the Salival boxset it has five or six of their videos on it, although the menus are cryptic to an extreme and I know I haven't found everything.

Fuck, I totally forgot about that one. I love how he's just sitting there and suddenly he springs up and starts dancing for no apparent reason.

Well, I'll think to see if I remember any others, but offhand I like your list a lot. 'One' is probably my fave of all time; same for 'November Rain' although I like 'Estranged' even better. I haven't seen the Crue video that you mention, but I always loved 'Smokin' In the Boys' Room'... I miss the days when videos were cheesy but fun. My list might be a little skewed anyway since I'm not really familiar with any videos made past about 1995.

10. Megadeth - "Hangar 18" (Cheesy, but so what?)
9. Marilyn Manson - "Coma White" (My favorite Manson song and a good video)
8. Pearl Jam - "Do the Evolution" (The original McFarlane video, before Korn stole the idea...)
7. Fatboy Slim - "Weapon of Choice" (Not big on the musical style, but it's Christopher freakin' Walken dancing!)
6. The Locust - "Live From the Russian Compund" (These guys clear rooms and the video reflects that mentality... One of my "favorite" bands)
5. Andrew W.K. - "She Is Beautiful" (Seen him live seven times and been stalked by him, too... this video is great. Full of energy as he trashes a house and stops in the middle to make himself a power shake!)
4. Michael Jackson - "Thriller" (Regardless of what he's done since, this video is a minor masterpiece)
3. TOOL - "Stinkfist" (People consider them to be a boring band who hates their fans... The video is great, though.)
2. Robbie Williams - "Rock DJ" (I'm not a pop music fan, but this is the video where he sings his catchy little ditty while ripping his flesh and muscles off and throwing them at his rollerskating fans, after which they smear his blood all over themselves. I'm still in awe that he alienated his girlie fans that way.)
1. Nine Inch Nails - "The Broken Movie" (My favorite band at their most potent. A 25+ minute longform video of a dude being tortured and forced to watch NIN videos. Includes a bodily-mutilation piece starring Bob "Supermasochist" Flanegan. Definitely NOT for the squeamish. Never officially released by Reznor, but basically leaked out there.)

Damn. The broken movie. It was scary, but by far the scariest part was the mutilation piece, which is actually a standalone music video to "Happiness In Slavery" which is universally banned, because it's sick as fuck. It involves:
1) Trent Reznor A.K.A. Depressed Guy In A Cage
2)Bob "Sadomasoshism" Flanagan A.K.A. Guy Who Sereously Mutiliates His Own Body Because Of Some Condition That Causes Him Pain, Apparently Less So Than Self-Mutilation.
3)Some freaky looking machine.

As far as I can tell, Trent is in a cage, and Flanagan is offering himself up as a friggin SACRIFICE to a sadistic torture machine. He gets up on a stool, undresses, washes himself, looks in the mirror for a bit, (ew) And lays down on a table. An intelligent torture machine immediately comes to life and starts to torture and rape him. The machine, a couple minutes later, gets bored of this and disposes of him by pulling out his organs and dumping'em on a mass of worms. Trent's cage then opens, leaving him to do the same, apparently. I haven't watched this video in a while, and for good reason: It scares the HOLY FLYING SHIT out of me. Apparently, all of the movie besides the final killing of Flanagan are real. Scary as HELL. JESUS. It's much scarier standalone than it is in the Broken Movie, which is also nightmare-inducing. I'm going to bed now with the lights on.

The Broken Movie, Happiness In Slavery, Stinkfist, and Hell song are quite possibly my favorite music videos, but i can't think of anything else goodnight.

I can't remember many music videos as I've not seen any in a long time. One of my definite favorites though is Land of Confusion by Genesis. Puppets are kickass and there's nothing like making fun of Reagan.

Are you a puppet enough... puppet to portray Ronnie?

My all time fave video is "Electric Barbarella" buy Duran Duran.
Any music video with a sexxy robot babe gets an automatic "thumbs up" from the gushoshin.
Close runner ups are most any They Might Be Giants Videos.

...."Money For Nothing" was pretty cool too....

Steve Gavazzi, Marc Green
Jon Sly! It's time to play... WHICH DOUCHEBAG SAID THIS????

Pink Floyd: The Wall, that whole movie is one giant music video afterall.

I also like the video for "Rock the House" by Gorillaz and the extended US version of "Do you Realize?" by the Flaming Lips.

In a recent chat for Spiral (NIN fanclub) members, Trent basically said that the "Broken" video would never get a real release and followed that up by saying "just download the fucking thing". So there you have it -- he said to grab it. I don't want to cross any rules for this forum, but, uh... a higher quality rip than the one that was floating around out there has popped up on the Net if you know where to look.

Been dancing around cheesy 80's metal videos, I'm surprised no one's mentioned Ratt's Round And Round. It's got Uncle Milton. And another hilariously cheesy video is Autograph's Turn Up The Radio... at one point they show lead singer Steve Plunkett literally turning up the radio.

One all time great video that nobody has mentioned yet:

"All The Things She Said" - TATU

The song is kinda catchy in that techno-pop way. But the entire video is of two hot Russian schoolgirls making out in the rain. What's not to like?
