So today I go to work around 8am (est) and work hard all day,
I come home around 230ish and jump on the internets. I click on
Facebook, Lo and Behold! "Your account is Disabled" I have no
way of telling what I have done, or have not done. It just came up
as "you violated our TOS" and that's it. I must have done it while I
was helping customers. so I spammed the shit out of disabled@facebook.com
appeals@facebook.com, and info@facebook.com with the following message:

Hello Facebook,

I am writing you today because my account was deactivated while I was at work.
There was no warning, Just an email saying that My account was deactivated at
11:34 am (est). The problem is I Had been working since 8am, and did not have access
to a computer until after 2pm. I have sent the proper forms four times now, and still
have not received any emails in regards to my account. I only want to be able to
use my Facebook account so I can keep in touch with Friends and use for some
third party websites. (to log in with). I have proof that I did not do anything to cause
the deactivation of my account and I will gladly show it to you. I hope to have access
to my account soon.

And I will continue to mail them until I get a non automated response, OR until
they re-activate my account. It has some irreplaceable pictures on there.
Just wanted some help from you guys.

Probably got hacked and the person used it to spam shit everywhere. Mine had that happen while I was on it the other day, fucking thing kicked me off, and told me someone logged on from France after saying it had been disabled, but since I was right there I fixed it right away and changed my password.

Well I was away at work. Very Far from any internet enabled device.
And working from 8 to 2 It was working BEFORE I went to work.
and It was disabled at 1134am as the email said.

You clearly posted something someone thought was offensive, they reported it and Facebook followed up on it and took action. You didn't have to be on at the time your shit was deactivated.

There wasn't even a warning, just bam. No more Facebook. I'm more pissed than upset right now
so I am sorta raging about it.

So I made a new email/ facebook. This will give them a legitimate reason now to ban me.
Fuck facebook, I only use it to stay in touch with people who don't live near me.

MySpace was cool when it was it was its own thing. Then it started copying Facebook with apps, copying YouTube video, and everything just went to shit. Instead of trying to copy the sites it was losing its users to, it should have played upon its strengths. It failed to do this, and it died.

But kudos to MySpace Tom, he sure did sell his site at the right time.

I'm still getting friend requests from myspace. Myspace is pretty pathetic. I thought they were actually less gay than facebook until they started copying them. Basically, exactly what Syd said.

So a couple of days ago, my SECOND face book gets locked out.
I am fucking pissed. No joke, I am completely abandoning Facebook.
But thats why I have you guys, I'll just be hanging out more on the forums.

I have tried contacting facebook in every way possible, I even mailed them a letter.
I believe that facebook has drastically gone downhill over the last couple years, and I feel that
I would be better off without it.
