It was really sudden. One minute I'm walking down to the commons, the next BAM, dead. It's weird. Death is sorta like a shittier version of life. I recommend life, bro.

Agreed.
I'm not quite sure if i did get the ending right but i thought the whole Island was some kind of Limbo or Pre-Afterlife created to make Jack let go of his former life.
Anyways, it was disappointing and did no justice to the series.

They all died in the plane crash, the plane actually exploded before take off and they were all on life support. Hurley's batteries dying represented them losing their battle and dying. The rest of their series was their decent to hell.
