Is there a site you can use to generate those What People Think I Do/What I Really Do memes that are all the rage? Can't fucking find one, and it's seriously fucking pissing me the fuck off.

That's just a template, and it's not even centered properly. I could make one of those myself if I wanted to.

For the record, this is my new favorite meme structure since De motivational posters.

I'm not really feeling this one. It's just thinly veiled social commentary that tries to be more relevant than those instant memes with a face in the center and a setup with a punchline, but not much more effort.

This one started strong, but gets progressively less interesting the more I see it. True with any meme I guess.
It has potential, but I'll get bored of it before it gets there.

It's the destiny of every meme to go out hated due to overuse. The only variable is how long it takes before people move on.

I'm tempted to do one with Gran Turismo with "what I really do" as a screenshot from the first PSX game where I'm riding a wall in a corner to victory in a hopelessly overpowered car like a hack.

Not bad. If you don't mind nitpickery, it should be, "what I ACTUALLY do," not "what I really do."
For the record, my favorite one so far:
So sad, and yet so very, very true.

Leave it to the Marines to completely miss the point and kill the joke.
That's so weird, Syd; all the ones I've seen have been "actually." Ah well.

I don't really get it. Are these supposed to be funny or poignant or what?

Everybody seems to be saying this is a "tired" idea... Am I the only guy in the world who hasn't seen this kinda meme before?

I'd never seen it before this thread but today I've seen at least 15 of them posted by various pages and people on Facebook and I'm sick of it already. At least Cheezeburger cats can be funny, most of these fail to achieve that goal by a long shot.

You aren't missing much, except maybe for Car Town. Car Town fucking rules.
Oh, seeing people you graduated with get knocked up/divorced/arrested is fun, too.

I liked this at first but it didn't take long for it to lose its appeal. Most of them are just rehashes of old stereotypes and tired jokes.
