i know IE saves my favorites to a folder on my computer, but does chrome do that? i cant seem to find a folder for my chrome bookmarks. so, i was wondering if chrome did that at all.

and how come firefox/IE cant import chrome bookmarks.

For me when I bookmark something instead of a drop down menu, it save it to a bar right under the address bar, and when that bar is at the end, moves to a dropdown menu.

i meant on the C drive, like IE does.

I'm not sure it has a folder but the way I did it when I needed to copy my bookmarks during a reformat was:

Click the wrench icon in the top right.
Bookmarks>Bookmarks Manager.
Organize dropdown menu on the top bar.
Click export to html file.
Save it as whatever, wherever you want it to be.
Then if you are trying to import them into say Firefox or IE, you just go to its bookmark manager equivalent and import them there using the file you just created.

i never heard of xmarks but that will probably resolve everything.

this solved my issue. i had to reset my laptop and i hate not having my bookmarks saved.
