So if you could only pick one 4 player cab from the Konami Golden age, which would it be? Feel free to list another cab if your choice isn't represented. I personally would go with Bucky, just because it is a little different than the others as far as gameplay.

I loved the Simpsons Arcade but I couldn't do shit in it without about $10 in quarters. I really enjoyed TMNT, at my birthday party at the (now closed and turned into a gas station) Putt-Putt, we wasted all our tokens on Killer Instinct and TMNT.

Since when Aliens was a 4 Player game?
Also, you forgot Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa and G.I. Joe.
I just remember spending so much time playing the simpsons game that it was the first one to stick out to me. And I totally agree with you Syd, X-Men was only good with 6 players.

I'd pick the Simpsons cabinet. I used to play the crap out of that one.

And that's why the 6-player cab at MAGFest is one of the most popular attractions there.

Simpsons. Probably because it is the best Simpsons game to date.

There's a 4-player Bucky O' Hare game? That sounds epic.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Sunset Riders. I'd get that in a heartbeat if I could. Being able to play a four-person game of that would be amazing. I'd call Cormano every time.

Sunset Riders would always be my choice. I remember when we would all choose the cool-looking handgun guys, making fun of the dude in the dress. Then I picked Cormano one time as a joke, and haven't looked back.

Yeah. Truth be told, I don't think it's that good. And that's coming from me.
I'll go with The Simpsons. Not only is it one of the most fun multi-player games ever, but it's one of the few epic games that really never got a good port outside of the arcades.
TMNTII - Turtles in Time is not on this list, and really needs to be. For shame.
Aliens was a 2-player game from what I remember.
And X-Men...yes, it was kind of awesome in that it was 6-player, but a lot of it just seemed really silly, particularly some of the mutant powers (Colossus, use your SPARK OF DOOM!), you didn't get to throw out your awesome powers nearly enough, and have you ever played the darn thing with 6 people? I have, and it gets really, really cramped, particularly if you're stuck with Cyclops or Dazzler and they crammed it into a corner.
Sunset Riders for me. It just brings back more good memories. And Cormano was the frikkin best, but my bro owned the game, so I always had to play Bob

I voted Sunset Riders as its the one i'm most likely to beat on a couple of quarters as opposed to 50 dollars in quarters (the simpsons).
All things considered i'd rather have an espgaluda or third strike cab if i had the choice of any developer
Violent Storm was a badass beat em up and had great music...only 3 player though.

Well I asked this question for a reason, I went to pick up my third cab today and I was hoping to pick up Sunset Riders. However, it was just out of my price range. So I had to settle for this.
Then I got it home and started playing it. Does anyone else remember Zitz plowing mutherfuckers in the face with a drill as blood shot out to the roof in the NES/SNES versions? This game rules.

With how much people go on and on about NES Battletoads these days, I almost forgot about the arcade version. I remember it actually being somewhat easy, as far as arcade games go. Also, why do I know each of their real names? Thank you, lame cartoon pilots.

Wow, I didn't know that game existed. It looks awesome. Brutal, too.
