personally, i think SNES & Genesis shouldve been number 1, but thats just me.
another rivalry that got killed because EA has a shit ton of money was Madden VS NFL 2K. i thought the 2K games were better, but thats just me.

This. I would have just put Sega vs. Nintendo, and also Nintendo vs. Sony. Oh, and Ralph Baer vs. Nolan Bushnell.

Seriously? Dead Space Vs. Resident Evil? I'd much rather put Silent Hill up there before Dead Space in terms of Rivalry of the two series.

Also who really gives a fuck about Umehara and Wong? They might as well have included the foreign CS teams, which no one really cares much about either.

The only ones I can see that makes sense are 8, 6, 4 and 3

Yeah the first one that jumped out at me was the Dead Space vs Resident Evil one. I would have said Silent Hill vs. Resident Evil myself. The Street Fighter vs. Mortal Kombat one makes sense but SNES vs. Genesis would be ahead of it in my eyes.

Who takes sides wih Wong over any other pro fighting game player? I loved watching combofiend whip his ass in mvc3 at the last Evo.
