So the local radio station has been playing this one second clip for a few days now, and no one calling in has identified it. So I look to you degenerates to help solve the riddle.

To help move this along and motivate people, the radio station is mostly modern rock. They really only go back to the 80's to play Metallica and Guns N' Roses, play plenty of 90's stuff from Nirvana, Green Day, Cake, Rage, etc., and modern stuff like Killers, Coldplay, Muse, RHCP.

Whoever helps me get this will get a nice fat $500 CND money order.*

Use of the terms 'slacks' makes me think they are referring to a UK band, but I've to a ton of Muse and Bush and nothing is fitting. Anybody familiar with Radiohead, Oasis, or other UK alt rock?

Further clues: Not a Canadian band. Not Green Day, Stone Temple Pilots, or Foo Fighters.
