I saw this movie last night and it was amazing.
I'm not a huge fan of Leonardo Decaprio(Titanic memories) but I think he was properly cast in this movie. This one will get around by word of mouth.
One of the bst movies of the summer next to Toy Story 3.

Hm. We haven't had a sleeper hit in a while, I think I'll go see this now.

You really can't go wrong with Christopher Nolan and DiCaprio. He is a very underrated actor and one of my favorites. I'm looking forward to seeing this one.

How is DiCaprio underrated? He's in fucking everything. That said, yeah he is a good actor and I've liked him in everything I've seen him in pretty much, minus Shutter Island. I just think it's delusional to say he's underrated, the man makes more money per picture than people who have been doing it for 50 years.

How many movies he is in or how much he makes is irrelevant when gauging public opinion and that's what I'm basing my "underrated" comment on. You never hear people talking about what a great actor he is, or how good he was in whatever. People sort of just write him off.

I would call DeCaprio underexposed. You don't see him unless he's got a movie coming out. Other than that, you don't see him in tabloids or spouting out bullshit opinions on politics or how everyone should live their lives. Seems like a guy who keeps to his own.

I saw it this afternoon and really enjoyed it. The story was really interesting even though some may say it was a bit confusing. The acting was really well done too. I also have bad memories of Titanic but lately Leonardo DiCaprio has been impressing me with some of his movies. I really liked The Departed and Shutter Island. Anyway Inception is really good and I highly recommend it.

My friends are so "macho" they refuse to see a movie with the "Titanic Fairy" in it. I for one liked a lot of his movies, I especially like "Catch Me, If You Can" and "The Departed". I just don't know what to see anymore, I wanna see Inception, Expendables (can't wait), Predators, Despicible Me, Toy Story 3, and a couple others...I think I might see this one next though.

The Aviator was what turned me around on him. I liked that a lot. The Beach was a fun movie as well.

This. I'm a big fan of DiCaprio as he's pretty much win in every movie he's done. The Aviator was awesome as sathien said, Man in the Iron Mask is such an overlooked gem and one of my favorites, not to forget about Gangs of New York and Romeo and Juliet. He's also great in Blood Diamond even if the movie itself sucked.

dicaprio has is a very unique acting style. you remember it. thats whats so great about it. but i wouldn't call him a great actor. Peter Lorre is a good actor, Anthony Perkins too. todays actors are just like todays people overall, they always seem that they could get convinced to make it different.

This movie was fantastic, but I don't know that you can call it a sleeper hit. It opened #1 and was the next most highly anticipated movie of this dreadful summer aside from Toy Story 3. The ending of the movie left me and Syd with just one question, though: Was that Asian guy the fake R'as Al Ghul from Batman Begins? The answer turned out to be yes.

Hey, this summer has some bright spots coming: The Expendables and The Good Guys.
Also, does Iron Man 2 count as a summer movie?

Dear lord how could you stand to sit in a theater for 3 movies? My tailbone usually starts to kill me after one.

So far, it's the best movie of the year, but it's not Oscar season yet.
Nice to see Joseph Gordon-Levitt again, though I mistook him for Edward Furlong (wouldn't it be nice to see Edward Furlong back? I seem to remember he has/had a big drug problem).

Saw it this morning with a couple friends. This has to be my favorite I've seen this year. DiCaprio is a really good actor.

I just saw the movie today. I went into it without knowing what the story was, or anything about the plot. All I knew was who was in it, that it had a few scenes of things blowing up, and that it was directed by the mastermind behind Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.
It was good. Damn good. It serves as an example of CGI done right, as the things happening couldn't have convincingly been pulled off with practical effects.
The basic central plot point reminded me of The Matrix, but the style and tone of the movie was completely different. If The Matrix is similar to Ghost in the Shell, then the closest thing to this would be Trigun (awful example, I know, but I don't watch a lot of anime).
