To remedy the silly poll regarding Force Unleashed, let's have a real discussion shall we?
There are so many Star Wars games on so many different consoles that it's hard to even sit here and compile them all by memory. The first Star Wars game I played was "Star Wars" on NES and looking back, it's really not that good. Thankfully that was remedied by the fantastic "Super Star Wars" series on SNES, though the first is definitely my favorite.
"Shadows of the Empire" for the N64 was also a great game and I have many fond memories of fighting Boba Fett and riding those motorcycle things down the alleys of Mos Eisely. It wasn't the best, but it was definitely memorable.
But without a doubt my favorite series had to be "Dark Forces". It was nice having a completely original story with original characters in the Star Wars universe. I probably loved "Jedi Knight : Dark Forces II" a little more, as it introduced light sabers and force powers, while the sequel "Jedi Outcast" perfected it, but the series as a whole will always hold a special place in my heart.
OK, now it's your turn Sydlexia. GO!

I only played Star Wars Episode 1 - Racer for the N64 and the Force Unleashed for PS2.
Both sucked hard.

KOTOR, without a doubt. It had an awesome plot and would have been a great movie...

probably KOTOR as well.
that RTS wasnt too bad Empire At War.
the N64 Pod Racer game wasnt bad either.
Super Empire Strikes Back is always a good time.
Shadows of the Empire is great, but i think the Rogue Squadron games were better.

Wholly through circumstance, I have gone my whole life without playing any Star Wars games with two exceptions:
* One 80's arcade game with 3/4 overhead perspective speeder bikes on Endor.
* Return of the Jedi on the Atari 2600

I think I have to go with KOTOR even though I have only played it for a few hours, but I could already see the potential. Also, the Super Star Wars-games, the Rogue Squadron-games, and the X-Wing/Tie-Fighter-games are also great. Although, what I would have loved is if Lucasarts would have used the license to build a Fate of Atlantis-esque adventure game in the mid-90s when they were on top. That would have rocked.

In order.
KOTOR (the plot twist GP mentioned in his spoiler was fucking epic. I never saw it coming.)
Star Wars Galaxies (before they raped it)
Rogue Squadron
Force Unleashed (I really digged the first one, not so much on the second)

Dark Forces was definitely one of my favorite damn games in middle school, I loved the Dark Troopers and still do and was kinda pissed that destroying the Arc Hammer destroyed the project (mostly at any rate.) Jedi Knight was also tits and was one of my first experiences with online gaming in the PvP mode. Jedi Knight had a really cool story too and nice cut scenes, I feel like it would make a really awesome movie if done on the large scale.

KOTOR is mine as well and I completely agree with the above statement.
It was the first RPG I really played on a console and it's still one of my favorites.
I played Star Wars: Battlefront and the sequel a lot because my friend was obsessed with it. I didn't mind it but it got boring after a little while, especially since we played split screen only, not online..

The Battlefront games were alright, AI overran you a lot if you weren't fast though. Not terribly true to the source as a lot of ships had completely different weapons and a lot of the Separatist vehicles were actually droids that you could in no way pilot but still.

I've only played 3 Star Wars games. In order:
Force Unleashed (360) - I enjoyed this one very much.
Battlefront 2 (PS2) - This one was alright, but could've really used some online play.
Star Wars (GB) - Very confusing and very difficult.

That pod racer game was fun, and that's probably the most recent one I've played. I guess Super Star Wars, since out of the 3 SNES games, that's the only one I came even close to beating.

Anybody else get confused and forget you're not playing a Star Wars game while playing either of the Mass Effects?

I've only played the SNES action games and the GBA action game, and I think the GBA game was the best of those. It's just a little funny, because it's based on movie 3, and Anakin has like force choke and lightning blasts from the very beginning -_-

Dark Forces for me definitely. Just too much nostalgia there to beat any other SW game. X-Wing vs Tie Fighter gets an honorable mention though.
