I recently purchased, a copy of SWFU2 for the wii, and happy as I was, this game kinda sucked. I beat the entire game in just two sittings.(4 hours each) And the game seemed too linear, as there is an absolute path you must follow. Anyone else having this problem?

I own the first one, it was linear and sadly did not have the light saber via wii remote action that I had been hoping for. The second game received worse reviews than the first, so I skipped it.
The poll associated with this thread is pointless.

It sucked. I like Star Wars, but as a game the first one sucked too.

Why is there a poll on this?
Didn't this game come out like 6 months ago?

I haven't played 2 but what you described sounds like 1 as well. The force powers are cool and the levels and enemies looked really nice, but it was really short, the levels were extremely linear and in instances where you needed a force power to pass an area it wasn't the spend forever trying to figure it out and solve it almost by accident but instead it beat you in the face with what power you needed. Plus it really annoyed me in one that you visit two planets twice.

I liked the first one better than the second. The second was incredibly short. I got it for christmas and it was beaten by the 27th. I mean one of the levels was just you walking to a cave. I got the platinum medal shortly there after. At least with the 360 and PS3 it gave you some more play time if you are a trophy hunter.

Disappointing, but I'm glad I didn't waste my money on it. It's a shame, despite how tightly the story wedges in between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, the plot WAS pretty cool...

I own 2 on the PC.
Its good eye-candy, but the series overkills the force powers.
If Jedi/Sith can grab spacefighters out of the air and crush them, and pull Star Destroyers out of orbit. How did the Jedi lose in the original trilogy?
And, how did Darth Vader, who is suppose to be the most powerful force user of all time, not simply crush all the fighters that were attacking the 1st death star?

I agree with the imbalance, but disagree about what Darth Vader was in terms of power.
I was under the impression that of all force sensitive beings, he had the most potential for a connection with the force. Had he lived as long of a lifespan as Yoda or even Palpatine he might have been the strongest of all time, but he didn't. His power, while great, was never fully realized.
In other terms, he had all the talent one would require to be the best. However, talent still requires development, and at the time of his death he was relatively young by comparison to other masters and lords.
