Man, this movie was bad. I feel bad for Jeremy London... is this the only work he can get?

Best scene: Some evil chick has the magical scepter that controls the Basilisk, because it's also a magical treasure finding scepter. The Basilisk eats her clothes for no apparent reason, leaving her in her bra and panties. Ten seconds later, it eats her upper torso, just like Liu Kang's dragon-morph fatality. Unfortunately, the CGI Basilisk is really sloppy... The move doesn't connect properly and the girl's upper body just sort of disappears. That only happens like 33% of the time in MK.

Sci-fi's movies always suck, especially in the special effects department. The Soup makes fun of them pretty effectively. Hopefully next Friday's episode will cover that movie.

yeah, but at least it had Bruce Campbell in it, and Gabriel from Xena. Campbell's presence even made me order "Bubba Ho-Tep" from On Demand the other night. That one sucked too, but at least I got to see Campbell act again.
