I have it up for sale (Craigslist) along with the games I have and I've already gotten two legit replies. I could get at least $50-60 but now I'm being hit by a wave of nostalgia.

You've come to the right place then Razz
Honestly, unless you have something you want to buy in mind and need the cash, keep it. It's not that much money anyways Razz

It's not really for the cash. It's just been sitting in a box for months now because the price of Earthbound just won't go down.

It is pretty unlikely the price of Earthbound will ever come down. The longer you wait the fewer are still working. Simple supply and demand dictates that the price will just keep going up.

To be honest, yeah. If it's not for the cash, I'd say keep it. If one of your systems that you're playing now takes a dump, you can always break out the older stuff and have lots of fun. The best thing is from everything that I've seen, SNES is fucking indestructible. Ours dropped from a second story balcony onto concrete and was fine other than a crack in the casing.

Who likes role-playing games? Me. Way too goddamn much.

You will regret it if you sell it.

I sold my ps1 and it feels like a part of my childhood is gone... as gay as that sounds.

Doesn't sound gay at all, I can relate. I've sold many things that made me upset after I realized they were gone forever.

I still have mine in a box in my basement. I rarely play it because I'm missing some chords but I definitely would never sell it. I would keep it if I were you.

Listen to josh, he is right. The SNES probably means more to you then you are aware of at the moment.

Or just give it to me. Since it's not about money.

SKRULL!
Also, coming to a nostalgia and videogame website and asking if it's a good idea to sell an SNES is bound to get you one-sided opinions Razz

This guy. Depending on the games included, it's legit. I'd try to bilk it for more and see what bites you get. I talked mine up over the price that I offered for my PSP and the sports games I have.

Frank: I got a guy.
Dee: You got a guy?
Charlie: Uh, you got a human meat guy?
Frank: I got a guy for everything, Charlie.

Don't sell it, I'm in the process of collecting old consoles that I either never had or got rid of (mainly 8 bit / 16 bit stuff) and it totally adds up after a while, fucking expensive. You might as well keep it based off these two facts.

1: You already own it.

2: It's not like it takes up a whole bunch of space. (throw it in a box and stuff it in the closet if you're tired of playing it.)

Makes sense to me. I sold my NES a while back and I am sick about it now when I think about it. I don't know why I sold it, but I really wish I hadn't. The sentimentality is worth far more than the money.
