This is the website that I personally made for our battalion. I used only wordpad and Adobe Dreamweaver, and is updated frequently with new things I add. I really need some constructive critisism and feedback on this because I would like to make the site even better than it is now. thanks for your help

Okay basically i've read it all. It's pretty good. All you need to do is fix the layout a bit, fix some spelling mistakes. Also it would be good to include a bit more on what you do, the benefits of membership etc. It's all detailed below, it's just a bit chaotic to read as i added as i went along.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There is a spelling mistake on the page after you click the image:

http://teachers.sau36.org/wmrsd/wmrhs/TeacherPages/JROTC/spartangoals.htm

"and develop thier responsibilities"

Also who is meant to view this? Is it people from your school or is it anyone?

If it's for anyone you could say a bit more about what this is. Being a non-american i have no clue.

I haven't read that far in but what do you all do? What is the point of this organisation?

You say this: ""To Motivate Young People to be Better Citizens""

How do you do this?

Like i see you have all the staff who like organise the internal workings of the organisation but what do you actually do?

Also this seems to be connected to the military, what are the benefits of being in this organisation? Like does this prepare you to work in the army? Does it help you further your career in a way, does it help you get a job - do you write that you are a member of this group on a CV?

When you graduate from this organisation what happens? Is that just the end, like do you leave when you reach a certain age or how does it work? Is this regarded as a qualification? Like if i wanted to get into working in the military and there was me and another candidate, if i had this qualification and he/she didn't would i be the better selection?

On this page the toolbar isn't aligned corrected, the words don't fit inside the boxes.

Okay i see there is a history section and it answers a bit of what is above. Though i would still look at the points mentioned. Maybe you could move this? This is the sort of thing that i would read first when explaining what an organisation does.

http://teachers.sau36.org/wmrsd/wmrhs/TeacherPages/JROTC/Color-Guard.htm

On that page the toolbar is off centre again.

Not a major thing but some of the pages are aligned differently.

Compare this:

http://teachers.sau36.org/wmrsd/wmrhs/TeacherPages/JROTC/Raider-Team.htm

to this:

http://teachers.sau36.org/wmrsd/wmrhs/TeacherPages/JROTC/Drill-Team.htm

First seems to be aligned to centre while the second is aligned to left.

http://teachers.sau36.org/wmrsd/wmrhs/TeacherPages/JROTC/Rifle-Team.htm

Below Rifle Team Commander there seems to be a box with nothing in it. I dunno if this is intentional or if Rifle Team Commander is meant to be in that box.

In the awards section it would be good to include how you get the awards.

You did it here: http://teachers.sau36.org/wmrsd/wmrhs/TeacherPages/JROTC/marksmanship.htm

But here:
http://teachers.sau36.org/wmrsd/wmrhs/TeacherPages/JROTC/Arcs.html
http://teachers.sau36.org/wmrsd/wmrhs/TeacherPages/JROTC/cords.htm
You could say a bit more about them. Even if it is repeating what was said under teams it makes the page look less bare.

Spelling mistakes in links: "orginizations or buisness's,"

That's it, also you could put some more borders in, just blue isn't really interesting to look at. Put a border at the bottom to include White Mountains and the copyright notice and perhaps just a border including a different color.

Thank you for the proofing, these are just smal things that
I need to get corrected, also you may have noticed there are no
pictures in the "Photos" tab,
because I have to work with the staff on getting pictures of
events and competitions. as for the alignment and words
centered in boxes, it would vary depending on what browser you are using
(firefox, crome, safari etc.) and I really don't have a huge amount of control over this.

Yeah i saw there were no photos. I just took it as you hadn't put them up yet. Yeah i suppose i didn't account for that. I am using Firefox just in case you want to add a note on the site or something. When i built a website for a class i found that IE was messed up while Firefox worked. It wasn't anything major anyway.

I also need more than just one person's input. I am trying to get a diverse amount of third party "proof readers" to check out the site for me and my cadre.

it looks as though alowishus covered most of the typos.

and from what you are trying to promote, its not a bad website. its not flashy, has its mission statement on the front page, easy to follow links @ the top. i dont have any recommendations really.

my only recommendation would be regarding the Calendar of events. make that more calendar like. or have each calendar month shown separately. thats just my OCD talking, but it annoys me to have it all there on the page and no actual calendar.
