If you're around my age, you know all about this. There were two types of kids in my time: Kids who had the Spider-Man Cartoon Maker, and kids who's families didn't own a PC. It allowed you to make glorious cartoons like this:

For those of you who lack imagination, the plot is as follows:

Quote:
Supercomputers sent Spider-Man into space. After being attacked by 2 robot Mary Janes, he returns to Earth to uncover their origins. Spidey searches the entire city with Doc Ock hot on his trail. His Spider Sense goes off, and he follows it to the lab of the Mad Madman. Doc Ock hijacks the computer and crushes a curious cop with cars. Spidey is then attacked by many Rhino robots, but evades them. Doc Ock tries to crush him with motorcycles, but a rogue MJ clone saves him. Tune in next episode!

I have set out on a mission today. A mission to get my hands on this lost piece of nostalgic magic, and to stretch the software to it's utter limits to make the best damn Spider-Man cartoon ever. I have a torrent downloading as we speak, and once I figure out how to properly make a Windows 3.1 program run on Windows Vista Home Premium, I will begin my task. It might become a piece for E&N.

In the meantime, let's all discuss, and share our fondest memories of this unique piece of the nineties.

Doc Ock doesn't seem to be in too much of a hurry...

Yeah my brother and I messed around with this game too as kids. I remember it feeling really limited for the time, even back then. You could only have one thing moving at a time, and only one sound playing at a time, so it was pretty hard to tell a coherent story.

That's half the challenge.

There's also an x-men one that's backwards comparable with this, and a batman one.

I want to see someone recreate the movies with this.

I'm not a bad enough dude, but I am an edgy little shit. I'll do what I can.

In the topic of the Spider-man cartoon maker there is nice idea for the cartoon making of the spider man. Cartoon of the spider man is the nice toy to play for the kids. I will think so that the cartoon of the spider man will be lovely.

As I never got rid of any of my games, I am pretty sure the disc for this is sitting right around my parents computer.

I think I had the X-Men one too, but not Batman... Going there this weekend, will see.

The sad thing is I have worse Spider Man Comics in my collection...

Watching this felt like watching a bonus features from Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Confused
