I don't think I'd be willing to pay anywhere near $260 for this. I'd pay like $100.

I'd have to be a big cooper fan. I say maybe $150 at the very most.

Hahaha, I showed this to him on FB this morning. It is kind of a crappy set, none of his solo material, or even that famous material, a record Syd pointed out you probably don't have the player to play, etc. I just thought the box was cool.

He has had two really popular songs and maybe two more recognizable tunes. Everyone knows School's Out and No More Mr. Nice Guy. Most people would recognize Under My Wheels and Only Women Bleed. Then he was in a bunch of shitty movies and TV shows.
I would as soon pay for a MC Hammer box set as I would one from Alice Cooper.

Don't forget about 'I'm Eighteen.' That song is great and relatively popular.

its obvious that this is a collection for true fans who love the rarities and demos and shit, and not most of the people posting in this thread.
I'd probably pay about demonoid.com for this.

Well, that's another issue. Unless this stuff has been sitting in a safe in Alice Cooper's house, this stuff is already on bootlegs that the hardcore fans have.
Also, GPF, Alice had a bunch of recogniable songs:
Elected
Billionaire Dollar Babies
Teenage Lament '74
Are all fairly recognizable songs from that era. And the aforementioned Eighteen.
Also, a band's awesomeness isn't defined by its ability to chart singles. Estranged is the best GNR song ever, and it was not a popular singer. Alice had a bunch of non-charting songs that were great like The Ballad of Dwight Fry.

And "Desperado". Best Cooper song ever.
And as for this boxset, I wouldn't get it. The stuff doesn't sound too good. Now if we got EVERY Alice Cooper CD, The Booklet, etc, Then I'd be willing to pay $150

I paid $80 in 1999 for The Life And Crimes of Alice Cooper which was 4 CD filled with Alice singles and rarities spanning his career up to The Last Temptation. And it had an art/biography book included. It's hard to justify paying over 3X as much for something that has a lot less music.
Also, Hello Hooray and Generation Landslide are included on a lot of "Best of" compilations, so those probably got some radio play.

Nay. "Poison," best Cooper song ever.
Nothing sexier than black lace on sweat. Assuming it's not Alice Cooper himself, of course.

I remember this one time after I got back from Iraq and was on R&R, I got a text from my supervisor that said I had to show up to some meeting in uniform. I thought it was just a stupid office meeting so I casually showed up to the hanger blaring Feed My Frankenstein really loud but it turned out to be a commander's call already in progress. I got bitched at by a lot of people but the commander thought it was funny. The most embarassing part was that I was being awarded a medal at the end of it. Would have been nice if someone told me.

You're both wrong! "Wind-Up Toy" is the best Alice Cooper song.

Which Cooper song was in one of the Friday The 13th films, you know, the one where he slams that chick face first through an RV?

Almost all of Trash is amazing. I'd pay full price to buy this for my cousin. He's such a Cooper freak, and unlike most people, he has the technology to listen to the 7 inch haha
