Is it rare or something? Amazon sellers tend to charge insane amounts for something if they find out it's rare. Case in point:



I've been collecting Battletech Novels for years, and almost have the full run in mint condition, meaning no spine creases or dogears or jacked up covers.

This is the first Battletech novel ever, and by all accounts it is one of the worst books ever written. It's also very rare. No one will recommend buying a copy due to how crap it is, but no one will up and give you their copy either.

I really don't want a "used" copy, since the point of my collection is to have them all be like new, and I'm not going to pay 30 bucks just to read what I hear is a terrible story, and I'm certainly not dropping half a thousand dollars on a mass market paper back, no matter how untouched or "collectible" it is.
