I was wonder if anyone can suggest some fun card games for two people? I've never played anything other than Gin Rummy and Poker (or drinking games). My wife is about to have a C-Section and we'll be in the hospital for about 3 days. Maybe Penuchle or Spades or something? I have no idea if those are fun for 2 people. Thanks.

Uh the only card game I know how to play is Blackjack. Do you have chips?

You could use like pennies and nickels and stuff I suppose.

spades is for 4 players, isnt it? and you gotta be in jail to play that properly

you can try playing speed, if you have a firm surface.

Slap Jack, let her get her aggression out.

And congrats on the baby!

For the record, pinochle is doable 2-handed, but it sucks. I'd go with a boardgame, or a pen/paper game like Battleship.

Haha. She's decided not to breastfeed, so, yeah, we had to make a trip to Total Wine Warehouse and pick up the booze already.

Also, it'd look sketchy if I show up with ping pong balls and she's not wearing pants...those kinds of shows usually aren't free.

Nertz is fun for two. It's pretty much a versus version of solitaire.

enh, Hand n Foot is ok, my old man and his wife play that all the damn time, I would prefer hearts myself, though that is not a game for 2, just as spades isn't, which is another favorite of mine, though I must admit I haven't played spades in a very long time, and no I have never been in prison

In this forum I am surprised that I am the first one to mention this:

I love Pazaak. I made my own set years ago and I play with some friends every once in a while.
