Quite entertaining, generally substandard voice acting aside. I liked how it all came together to tell the story of how yet another powder keg got pulled out from under the world. But is the game around them really so indescribably bad? I'm mostly immune to the bad rap the franchise gets these days, so I think the real reason I've never played it is because I'm not an XBox 360 gamer, the same reason I've never played Street Fighter IV or Resident Evil 5, despite my brother owning both.

It's nowhere near as bad as everyone says. I love Silver, and I like the fact that Shadow's levels were based on his game and not just "different" Sonic levels, but Sonic's Superspeed sections practically ruin the game. I also didn't quite like the story.

Here comes a rant...

I've said it before and I'll say it again: We need a new Adventure game. Multiple, different characters with different game styles in three dimensions. Screw this Werehog, Color-alien, and nostalgia trip crap. If you want 2D sonic, make a new Advance, Rush, or Rivals game or play the old ones. Console Sonic should move into the 3rd dimension. And one more thing....STOP WITH THE FUCKING GIMMICKS!
