Unfortunately for the teacher, the evidence of her dalliance with the student was rather overwhelming when a police patrol spotted a lone car parked in a park in the town of Loveland.
When an officer shone his torch into the car he saw they were having sex.
According to an arrest report the officer wrote: 'The female was on top of the male and she quickly jumped off of the male when she saw my flashlight shining into the vehicle.
'I told both subjects that I could see they were naked and they needed to get dressed and talk to me.'

Investigators said the boy initially told the officer he was 20 years old, but when asked for identification he produced a school ID card that showed him to be 16.
The officer also found a bottle of vodka inside the vehicle.
Bowles, a mother of two, was booked into the Larimer County Detention Centre on charges of sexual assault, sex assault of a child by a person in a position of trust and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
She was released on $50,000 bail but not allowed contact with anyone aged under 18 years of age, including her own children - both girls.
Counsellors were called into the Mountain View High School where she worked to help any children troubled by the arrest.
She faces up to ten years in jail if convicted of all the offences and placed on a sex offenders register for life.

It is kind of funny to see the dichotomy of the situation. When it's a female teacher and a male student, there's always comments like, "Where were teachers like this when I was a kid?" and such, but if it's a male teacher and a female student, well... that's just unconscionable!

Call it what you want, but I had a few teachers I really wanted to bang, who probably could've gotten me through some tough times in middle school. You can't rape the willing.

This. And Usa, when I said funny, I wasn't implying that rape is funny, because it isn't, although for all intents and purposes, it seemed as if the boy was consenting (not in the legal sense of the term, since as a minor, he can't be, but at least in the sense that it wasn't done against his will.) What I was indicating that it's funny that there's such a double standard with regards to the situation.

It's definitely a tough call, because having sex at a young age can be traumatizing or exhilarating, depending on the person. I know a fucking fact if I banged my 6th grade science teacher, I would've been the happiest boy in the school.

Yeah it's a double standard, but so is sex in general. Men aren't programmed to connect as emotionally to someone during sex as women usually do.

Okay. Maybe you said "6th grade" when you really meant "11th grade" or something. You could make a reasonable argument that a Junior knows what sex is all about and could reasonably enter into that kind of relationship (even ignoring the idea of any sort of sexual relationship between any person and a subordinate being a bad idea). I personally don't think high schoolers are capable of good judgment in those matters, but sure.

But when you start implying that a fucking grade schooler could consent to and be happy with any sort of sexual relationship, well, that's either having your head so far up in fantasy that you haven't got a fucking clue, or just plain being sick and disgusting. You are looking at what you think a 12 year old would "want" through the eyes of a young adult male. Any sort of sexual contact at that age is very confusing and frightening, even if it "feels good". You may be happy, but you'd be one fucked up little boy and very likely to be one fucked up adult.

How is it wrong? Men are sex driven, I'd say a lot more than women. I'm not saying that women can't be, but I believe the ratio is in men's favor. Why do you think men brag about sex and it's not as common for women to? I'd like for you to explain how men and women are on the same emotional level, because most times, it isn't true.

It's not a fantasy, it was at the time. And I don't know how early they began programming you as far as Sex Ed, but we started in 3rd grade...that's right...3RD GRADE. And yes, even knowing about that sort of thing, doesn't necessarily make you an expert, but it gets the gears going. And you're right, would it be a good judgment call? Probably not. However I'm not going to sit here and say I wouldn't have enjoyed it if it happened, because I knew exactly what I wanted at the time and that really didn't stop until I did lose my virginity in high school, and even then it was still there. Again, I have to believe it goes back to consent, if I didn't consent to such a thing, yeah I might have had issues. But I don't believe that automatically makes it a nutjob if I did. It just made me a kid who wanted to get my rocks off.

And it's not like I'm condoning this. I'm simply speaking on my own behalf and my own experiences. Or lack thereof.
