I'm watching this on Netflix right now. This movie is fucking looney tunes.

Everybody in it seems to have autism. What the hell made this film popular?

I thought it was funny as hell. I still remember Jason Schwartzman's "you hold the key" song from the end of the movie.

Holy shit...that's him isn't it?

Honestly, this movie basically killed Devon Sawa's career and dealt a pretty big blow to Schwartzman's.

Devon Sawa didn't have a really big career to begin with. Slackers was big Pete's biggest role in like the past ten years, besides Donut Guy in 40 Days and 40 Nights(a highly underrated film, by the by.)

Besides, it was a cheap, shitty comedy, billions of them out there. Every actor's done at least one, how could it kill their careers? Brad Pitt did fucking COOL WORLD, and he's still around.
